Akademiya, yeni kosmik nəsil gəncləri yetişdirmək, beynəlxalq müsabiqələri milli model əsasında təşkil etmək, kosmos elmi və təhsili sahəsində maarifləndirməni artırmaqla milli kosmik ekosistemin inkişafına dəstək vermək, kosmik maarifləndirmə layihələrinin kommersiya fəaliyyətləri ilə maliyyələşməsini təmin etmək, gənclərin asudə vaxtını səmərəli təşkil edərək gənclər siyasətini dəstəkləmək və Azərbaycanın qlobal müstəvidə nüfuzunu artırmaq məqsədini güdür.
